Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell and his fiancée Alyshia Akua Miller celebrated their recent engagement over the Easter Weekend in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
This is the first time the couple was spotted in public since news of their future nuptials broke last week.
Miller took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of the two.
“Monday right ? Man crush #forlifey all year round #alwayshasmelaughing #him❤️#myfianceismybestfriend,” she wrote.
According to sources close to the couple, Powell and Miller are already planning the big day.
The wedding is expected to be held along the north coast in Jamaica and a date could be as early as January 2018 with a star-studded guest list.

The “Sub10King” popped the big question to the Canadian model back in February however Miller only shared the good news recently on social media.
“Throwback to date night,” Miller captioned a photo on her Instagram account.
Using the hashtags “#MySpecialNight, #Engaged and #February.”
Miller and Powell went public with their relationship last year September after photos surfaced with the two at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Asafa Powell previously dated beauty queen Yendi Phillipps. He fathers a daughter, Avani, with TV Host Amita Persaud-Webb. Powell also has a son, Liam, whom he announced to the world last year.
