Alkaline is the latest Dancehall artiste to venture into the hip-hop, rap game.

The Vendetta deejay is currently working on a new collaboration with New York rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

According to sources close to the project, the track will be featured on Boogie’s upcoming mixtape. The ‘Drowning’ rapper reached out to the ‘Champion Boy’ deejay through his management team and some folks at Atlantic Records.

The highly anticipated track will be a club banger sources added. The two hit up the studios last week and had great chemistry. “The vibe in the studio was great, good chemistry because you know sometimes when a rapper and a dancehall deejay come together the chemistry isn’t there but this is different we enjoy working on this track. Alka is a really talented artists, his lyrical content and flow is dope.”

Boogie Wit Da Hoodie also confirmed and teased the collaboration when he took to social media recently and told fans he wanted 50,000 comments and he would drop the track – he has since updated the caption.

According to Alkaline’s reps, the deejay is in high demand in the hip-hop circle. Following his feature on French Montana’s album ‘Jungle Rules’ album which saw the remake of his smash hit “Formula.”
