Vybz Kartel fans almost attacked producer Rvssian on social media earlier this week when rumors surfaced that he was about to record a new single for Alkaline.
Its no secret that the incarcerated Dancehall superstar and the Vendetta deejay are longtime rivals so Gaza-affiliate Rvssian working with him would be a major red flag in the Dancehall community.
The rumors started to circulate on Wednesday when Alkaline’s producer DJ Frass uploaded a photo inside a studio in Miami looking similar to the Head Concussion Records’ boss. However Rvssian, real name Tarik Johnston, quickly stepped in to refute the speculations.
According to Rvssian the studio in the photo wasn’t his, it just looks similar. The producer says that they both used the same designer.
Kartel and Rvssian teamed up twice since the start of the year with “Highest Level” then “Kremlin” last month.
As for Alkaline he’s currently working on a new banger with latin artists Ez El Ezeta, Jencarlos Canela and Justin Quiles.
