Just hours after Alkaline’s official Facebook page refuted claims made by the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF)  that the Dancehall artiste was wanted for the questioning in relation to the murder of Rohan Morris the Vendetta deejay is now saying those comments weren’t authorized by his management team.

“There is a rumor circulating. Regarding Alkaline , Earlan Bartley, and questioning for murder. Please ignore, this is one of the most cruel, vicious, destructive, degrading, sera gator you, ruthless lie, I have ever experience in my 23 years of existence. I am asking my fans to be calm, relax ,I am in no form of mix up with any form of illegal activities of any sort. And I declare innocence in all its entirety ,I am therefore asking the media personal to desist from spreading rumors on me unnecessarily.. BIG LIE!!!! Alkaline!! Try again!!,” The statement read on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday Alkaline’s Facebook page posted the statement wasn’t authorized nor does it represent claims on the artiste’s part, “The Badness It Name” deejay says he’s now focused on clearing his name.

Alkaline has until 5pm on Wednesday to report to the Area 4 Headquarters, Harman Barracks in Vineyard Town. According to Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, head of the constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, the police has been tried to get in touch with the artiste personally, but had no success.
