Alkaline has successfully secured yet another smash hit single under his belt.
The Dancehall heavyweight’s latest track ‘Mirage’ racked up over 1 million views in its first week. The banger produced by Tru Ambassador is currently the number three trending single on YouTube in Jamaica.
Released on January 22, ‘Mirage’ is the first official track from Vendetta deejay for 2018. The track sees Alkaline, whose given name is Earlan Bartley addressing Jamaica’s current crime rate, politics in the country, his haters, success and past legal troubles.
“Man a drop daily, politicians fail wi, still a smile all when dem treat wi unfairly, only thing wi fraid a is fear, that sh*t scares mi, that’s why we go hard as we do,” Alkaline singjays over the smooth Dancehall beat.
