Dancehall fans have claimed that Alkaline’s gritty new single “Deep Sleep” is aimed at longtime rival Vybz Kartel and Rygin King.

Last week the Vendetta deejay dropped the hard spitting track which seemed to be directed towards his many rivals, but Dancehall fans have claimed it is actually very specific.

According to some fans on social media, the track is primarily aimed at the deejay’s longtime foe, Vybz Kartel, and newcomer Rygin King.

Alkaline is known for frequently trading lyrical jabs with Vybz Kartel over the years but some fans have linked the Tuff deejay based on a particular line in the track saying “You say Mr. Alright, see them bout them in a all white.”

Some fans claim this is subliminal shot toward’s the Montego Bay-based deejay’s smash hit “Tuff” where he talks about stepping out in all-white while letting his haters know he is alright.

However, some fans have hit back claiming that some people are just reaching, as one fan stated “Yo di deejay never diss the yute, two a dem a gwan good unnu lef it at that! yutes dem time.”

Earlier this month Rygin King took to social media to refute rumours of him feuding with Alkaline after fans claimed that he had dissed the “Formula” deejay during a Instagram Live session.
