Popular Dancehall entertainer Alkaline was busy working in studios on Monday night after spending five days in Police custody.

According to sources close to the Vendetta deejay, he was eager to get back to work and makeup for lost time. Alkaline is set to release a new track titled “She Don’t Love Me,” however a single about his recent stint with The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) could also be released in a few days.

On Monday morning “Badness It Name” deejay, real name Earlan Bartley’s attorney, Peter Champagnie made an application in the St Andrew parish court for his client’s immediate release. The Judge then ordered cops to release the artiste by 6PM if charges aren’t laid against him.

Last week Tuesday the Criminal Investigation Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) released a statement saying Alkaline was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Morris as cops believe the deejay can assist with the investigation. 28-year-old Morris was shot more than 15 times at his home in Oaks Garden, St Andrew last month allegedly beside his 5-year-old daughter.
