Popular Dancehall entertainer Alkaline has sought to address his recent detention by cops in his new single titled Fast.

The Vendetta deejay, real name Earlan Bartley spent five days in police lock-up earlier this month after The Criminal Investigation Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) released a statement saying he was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Rohan “Head” Morris.

Alkaline who was represented by Peter Champagnie deejays “Top man affi have top lawyer cause the system a pree mi and mi a pree dem” in the DJ Sunshine Yellow Moon Records-produced single. “The system wan sink mi dem think a supn good, deh inna mi cell mi nah talk mi nah meds nothing good, wait till mi jump out, wait till mi touch road cause a bagga talk a mek jus wait till mi guh home” he added.
