6ix Boss Squash sent Dancehall fans into a frenzy on Saturday night.
Supporters of the Montego Bay-based deejay became worried after a photo of Squash in a hospital bed surfaced online.
A member of the “Money Fever” deejay’s team uploaded the image on Instagram with a cryptic caption “??? @squash6iixboss.” Social media users quickly reposted the photo issuing prayers while many speculated on the reason Squash was hospitalised.
However according to sources close to Squash, the deejay is alive and well on-board the Dream Weekend cruise. The now-viral photo was reportedly from his upcoming music video.
“No need for Dancehall fans to be alarmed,” the source said. “Everything is ok with the 6ix Boss, the photo was taken at Squash’s recent music video shoot, all will make sense soon, his phone has been blowing up since the photo touched the internet.”
