The Gibraltar All Age School is mourning the death of a promising student, six-year-old Oniel Williams, who was killed on Monday.
Williams was attempting to cross a roadway in Brown’s Town when he was struck by a speeding motor car. The toddler was reportedly dragged by the vehicle, which later crashed into an embankment, Williams succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
The police say the alleged driver of the motorcar is now in their custody and will be questioned.
