50 Cent became the latest celebrity to share their thoughts on the recent shootings that made national headlines across the United States.

The New York rapper took to Instagram to comment on the recent killings of two African American males by police, and the killings of five Dallas law enforcement officers.

In a lengthy post featuring the image of a Nintendo Zapper video game controller, the G-Unit boss revealed that he was not surprised by the shootings which claimed the lives of five police officers in Dallas, but expressed a change of heart and sympathized with the victims.

This is not a game out here, police have gotten away with shooting so many people and not being punished for it,” the rapper wrote. “People are fed up. I saw CNN report on Cops being shot and the sad part is my first thought was, Good because I’ve seen so many graphic images of cops wrongfully shooting people but when I think about it, the officers that were shot are not guilty of anything. They were protecting protesters. Their families must be devastated. My condolences to those families of the officers that lost their lives that night. But we also can’t ignore the fact that black people get treated unjustly by law enforcement everyday. My condolences also go to the families of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile.”

The two African American men, Sterling and Castile, were shot and killed in separate incidents by police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Falcon Heights, Minnesota earlier this week.
