Leroy Campbell, a 48-year-old mason of Central Village, St Catherine died on Thursday night after he was struck by a motorcar along the Municipal Boulevard.
According to reports, about 8:00 pm Campbell was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a motor vehicle; the driver did not stop. The police were summoned and Campbell was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Portmore police are now seeking the driver of a motorcar. Anyone with information that can assist with their investigation is being asked to contact the station at 949-8422, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
