A 13-year-old was killed by gunmen on Sunday in Mongoose Town off Waltham Park Road in St. Andrew.
He has been identified as Jahime O’Connor, an eighth grade student at Cockburn Gardens Primary and Junior High School.
The brutal attack also claimed the life of 31-year-old Akino Grant, while two others were injured.
Policewoman and daughter shot in Portmore
According to police reports, shortly after 4:00 pm Jahime and Grant were among a group of individuals playing football when a Nissan Tiida motor vehicle with several armed men drove up. The men opened fire on the group.
The St. Andrew police are investigating.
